Plantown Building Inspections is a local building and pest inspection company that has been established for over 10 years and conducted over 12,000 inspections in the local Cairns and surrounding region. We are well and truly established in the region and pride ourselves on a regular referral base. Our inspections include pre-purchase building and pest inspections - understanding the condition of a building and any required maintenance can greatly influence a purchase and may save you thousands of dollars. We also conduct pre-sale inspections for sellers, trouble shooting inspections, body corporate and commercial inspections. Following the purchase of your property we offer our ongoing support with routine termite inspections, termite control and/or general pest control services. We aim to establish a trusted and supportive, long standing relationship with our clients. Servicing the local area, we carry out inspections on all aspects of the property. This includes inspection of roofing, gutters, roof voids, interior and exterior walls, floors, sub-floors , windows, doors and cabinetry. Inspections also include patios, verandahs, gazebos, granny flats, sheds and garages. Our reports also include information on safety switches, hot water systems, smoke alarms, pool safety (fencing) certificates , insulation and more. We take photos of all significant findings, have the equipment to perform electronic moisture testing , and include all this information with summarised recommendations for repairs in our reports. Our inspector, Adam Geering, is a licensed and insured builder, building inspector and timber pest inspector with 30 years industry experience.
