Scarborough Upholstery & Safety Equipment is a leading and innovative safety equipment manufacturer and supplier to mines throughout Australia and Internationally. We provide a wide range of premium safety products as well as special items which can be designed to your own specifications and needs. We only use and source the highest quality materials. All of our products are designed and manufactured in our workshop.Scarborough Upholstery was established in 1978 in the small mining town of Scarborough NSW by Hans and Jenny van Loo. Our first customer in mining sector was Coalcliff Colliery, we were asked to design a fitters bag - we still manufacture this bag and continue to supply it to many mines throughout Australia.In 2008 the business name was changed to Scarborough Upholstery & Safety Equipment and a partnership was formed with 2 of our children Ben van Loo and Kellie Favelle. The business has grown rapidly over the years and in early 2012 the workshop was moved to new larger premises in Helensburgh NSW.Scarborough Upholstery & Safety Equipment is a family owned and operated business that strides to provide honest, consistent, friendly service - now with over 34 years experience supplying the mining industry. This knowledge and experience gives us the ability to be able to assist you with all your mine safety requirements. If you need it - we can help you.
