At Bankstown Childcare Academy we will endeavour to develop each child's self-image, autonomy, self-belief and confidence by fostering their self esteem, self-discipline and sense of responsibility, through positive interaction and encouraging learning in a safe environment.
We will use educational practices to instruct and evaluate each child as individuals and as a group, using the learning outcomes from EYLF (Early Years Learning Frame Work) . Our aims is for each child to celebrate his/her separate identity, yet still be able to work and contributes constructively within a large group. We will review and reflect regularly ourselves as educators and evaluate our ideals, and our practices against the EYLF practices and principles.
Accepting and embracing the diversity of our families, we respect and acknowledge their cultural beliefs and practices. At Bankstown Childcare Academy, our aim is to build a strong relationship with our families, to make them feel welcome, give them a sense of belonging, encourage them to be part of our extended family, and to acknowledge and respect they are the primary educators of their children.
