About PJ Burns Builder Pty Ltd

With the help of their father Noel Burns, brothers Rick and Steve Burns established PJ Burns in 1978 and is today one of the longest established construction companies in the region.Their association with building and developing the Sunshine Coast goes way back to the early sixties with their father. Noel Burns was solely in charge of the original development of the Sunshine Coast from Currimundi through to Mooloolaba. Noel remained General Manager of the Kawana Estates Development from its inception in 1965 until his retirement in 1980.PJ Burns first headquarters in 1979 was a small office built in Kawana Estates in the early industrial area at Kawana. In 1980, Noel Burns built “Noel Burns House Commercial Complex” next to the Kawana Hotel at Buddina and Rick and Steve moved their office to there.In 1996 PJ Burns Pty Ltd relocated to Mudjimba near the airport. It is from this position that they today still offer one of the most diverse ranges of housing choices in the region.
